Here's a five-star review for Chuy's Taco Shop in San Diego: Taco and Burrito Heaven! I recently visited Chuy's Taco Shop in San Diego after seeing it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and it completely exceeded my expectations! From the first bite, I knew I had found a true gem. The tacos were out of this world -- packed with fresh, bold flavors and just the right amount of spice. The burritos were equally impressive, stuffed to perfection and incredibly satisfying. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. It's no wonder Chuy's was featured on the show -- every bite is a testament to their dedication to authentic, flavorful Mexican food. If you're in San Diego and craving tacos or burritos, Chuy's Taco Shop is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be returning!

Cool spot we got to try earlier this year! Late post, food was good! We had the popular Chile Relleno, a couple breakfast burritos, rolled tacos and a chilaquiles plate! We all enjoyed it!

The food was so amazing that we visited twice on the same trip. Came here from seeing it in DDD and it did not disappoint. The Chili Relleno burrito with carnitas was so good as were the tacos and the taco/enchilada combination. Prices were reasonable too.

I have to give San Diego their props. I used to always say Houston had the best Mexican food, but we were in for a treat here in San Diego this time around and this place delivered on all stars. Food: the burrito is absolutely amazing and huge. It's enough for two people. It was so big. I asked him to cut it in half and save the rest for later. Because he simply cannot finish it unless you're starving or something I don't know, but it was very flavorful and fresh. One thing that stood out was the homemade Tortilla corn chips. Those had some of the best flavor ever. The green and red salsa were amazing. My gf Really enjoyed her as well. She got the Chilaquiles plate. The customer service is amazing. I can't remember her name but the young lady work there was super friendly and did a great job. Our food was out really fast and it was simply amazing. I will go back soon. Five star review

Located close to SDSU, you'll find this little gem of a taco shop. Gave it a shot because I saw it on Diners Drive Inns and Dives. The first thing I noticed upon walking in is that the staff were very polite, which is always a plus. They expanded their shop so you'll be able to get a group of your friends together and grab a table. The menu was your standard menu with plenty of options to choose from. Their go-to items are the burritos as they are large, so come hungry! I opted for one of their breakfast. Burritos consisting of egg, ham, potato, and cheese. Couldn't finish the whole thing, so it was both breakfast and lunch. Four star rating just because the burrito size can vary and are not consistent. Overall, though, if you're looking for a great tasting mexican food spot, this is the place to go.
